Taking the ALEKS @ Home

While we always encourage you to take the ALEKS in person at one of our campus locations, we understand that life happens. Maybe you live too far from campus or your schedule doesn't align with our open hours. That is why we have an option that allows you to take your ALEKS at home, on your time. This is called remote proctoring, and we have partnered with Honorlock for a secure test taking experience. There are system requirements that you have to meet in order for remote proctoring to work. Please read through the information on this page before submitting your request.

Requirements to Test @ Home

To take the ALEKS Math Placement at home, you will need the following:

  • separate webcam or smartphone to set up for side-angle proctoring
  • either a wired internet connection or your computer setup close to your home router
  • quiet space away from other people
  • desk or table to sit at while taking the assessment

Request Form

We will need some information from you in order to get you set up with Honorlock to take your ALEKS Assessment at home. Please complete the ALEKS @ Home request form. After we receive your request, we will send you an email with the information to get you started.
